Assigning call maps to campaigns

What we'll cover

In this article we will discuss how to assign call maps to campaigns. Similar to assigning call maps to DNIS numbers, this allows MosaicVoice to bring up the appropriate call map whenever an incoming or outgoing call is placed. By assigning a call map to a given campaign, when the dialer passes MosaicVoice the campaign name, MosaicVoice knows to populate the appropriate call map.

How to assign a call map to a campaign

  1. Once logged in and on the home page, select the Call maps tab on the left-hand side of the screen
  2. Next, in the upper right-hand corner of the Call maps page, click Assign call maps
  3. At the top of the page, there is a box with the text DNIS and a drop-down containing a list of all the call maps
    1. For inbound calls: In the box labeled DNIS, enter the name of the campaign
    2. For outbound calls: In the box labeled DNIS, enter "outbound:" followed by the campaign name with no spaces. For example, if the campaign name were "Blue", the user would enter "outbound:Blue"
  4. Once the campaign name is entered into the DNIS box, select the appropriate call map from the drop-down
  5. Click Create / Update when complete

Once the above steps are complete, anytime a call is placed or received from that campaign, the appropriate script will automatically populate within MosaicVoice.
